Finding a therapist

TheraSynced lets you search by specialty, location, availability, and price. Every therapist on the platform is verified so you can book with confidence.

How it works

  1. 1Open Explore from the dashboard sidebar
  2. 2Filter by county, city or home-visit availability
  3. 3Narrow by specialty - physio, sports massage, counselling, strength coach, and more
  4. 4Sort by rating, price or availability
  5. 5Open a profile to read their bio, qualifications and recent ratings

Tips

  • Read the About section for their clinical approach
  • Therapists with 10+ ratings tend to have more consistent feedback
  • Use the "available today" filter if your need is urgent

Booking a session

Once you have picked a therapist, booking takes under a minute. Pick a slot, pay securely with Stripe, and your confirmation arrives instantly.

How it works

  1. 1On a therapist profile, click Book a session
  2. 2Pick the date and time from their available slots
  3. 3Choose the service and duration (30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 minutes)
  4. 4Select location type - clinic, home visit, pitchside, corporate
  5. 5Review the price, enter your card details, and confirm

Tips

  • Home-visit bookings may include a small travel surcharge
  • You get a reminder email 24 hours before the session
  • Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the session starts

Messaging your therapist

Every booking unlocks an encrypted chat with your therapist. Use it for pre-session questions, medical info, or post-session follow-ups.

How it works

  1. 1Open Messages from the sidebar
  2. 2Pick the conversation with your therapist
  3. 3Type your message, attach files if needed
  4. 4They are notified and reply within their business hours

Tips

  • All messages are encrypted and private between you and the therapist
  • For emergencies always call 112 or 999 - messages are not monitored for urgency
  • Keep a concise summary of your goals in the first message

Rescheduling or cancelling

Life happens. You can reschedule or cancel any upcoming session from the dashboard, subject to the therapist’s cancellation policy.

How it works

  1. 1Open My Bookings from the sidebar
  2. 2Click the session you want to change
  3. 3Choose Reschedule (pick a new slot) or Cancel (confirm)
  4. 4An email confirmation is sent automatically

Tips

  • Cancellations made 24+ hours before the session are always free
  • Last-minute cancellations may incur a fee per the therapist’s policy
  • Rescheduling does not cost anything if done 24+ hours in advance

Rating after a session

Once a session completes, you can leave a 1-5 star rating. Your feedback helps other clients pick the right therapist and rewards professionals who consistently deliver.

How it works

  1. 1Open My Bookings once the session date has passed
  2. 2Click the prominent Rate button on the session row
  3. 3Pick your star rating (1 = poor, 5 = excellent)
  4. 4Submit - it is instantly added to the therapist’s profile score

Tips

  • You can rate any session where the scheduled time has passed
  • Ratings are one-time and cannot be edited afterward
  • The dashboard banner tells you how many sessions are still waiting for a rating

Your dashboard

The dashboard keeps every session, message, receipt and favourite therapist in one place - no spreadsheets, no hunting through emails.

How it works

  1. 1Next appointment hero shows your upcoming session at the top
  2. 2My Bookings lists the full history, filterable by status
  3. 3Messages opens all your therapist conversations
  4. 4Favourites lets you rebook a therapist you liked in one click
  5. 5Account holds your details, payment methods and notifications

Tips

  • Tap the heart icon on a therapist profile during booking to save them
  • Receipts are downloadable from any completed booking
  • Enable email notifications so you never miss a reminder

Is my data safe?+

Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Messages are encrypted between you and the therapist. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store card details.

Does TheraSynced work on mobile?+

Yes, the platform runs on any modern browser and is fully responsive on phones and tablets. Native apps are on the roadmap.

What happens if I need to cancel?+

Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the session are always free. Shorter-notice cancellations may be subject to the therapist’s individual policy. You can cancel anytime from My Bookings.

How does payment work?+

You enter your card when you book. Payment is held securely by Stripe and only captured when the therapist marks the session complete. If the session does not happen, the hold is released.

Can I change my subscription tier?+

Therapists can switch between Bronze, Silver and Gold anytime from Account → Subscription. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

I forgot to mark a session complete. What now?+

You can mark any past session complete at any time from My Slots or My Bookings. The session only counts toward your revenue once you complete it, so tick them off the same day to keep your numbers accurate.

Why can’t I leave a rating yet?+

Ratings unlock once the session’s scheduled time has passed. If the session has just finished and the button is not showing, give it a few minutes and refresh.

How do I get verified as a therapist?+

Upload your qualification documents from the Verification section of your account. Approval usually takes 1-2 business days. Your profile only appears in client search once you are verified.

I am in crisis, can I use TheraSynced?+

No. TheraSynced is not monitored for emergencies. If you are in crisis or experiencing a medical emergency, please call local emergency services. In Ireland, dial 112 or 999.
